Is there a free trial? Do I need a credit card?

Yes — 14 days free on every plan, no credit card required. You get access to all features during the trial. Add billing when you're ready to keep going.

Can I cancel or change plans anytime?

Yes — monthly plans cancel any time from the billing page, no questions asked. You can upgrade or downgrade at any point and the change prorates on your next invoice. The lifetime deal is non-refundable after 14 days.

How long does setup take?

Most clinics are live in under 10 minutes (based on our internal setup testing with single-location clinics, August 2026 — larger knowledge bases take longer). Add your services, hours and FAQs, drop the embed code on your site, and you're answering patients 24/7. No developer required — it's a copy-paste snippet.

Do I need a developer to install it?

No. The web widget is a single copy-paste snippet you drop in your site's <head>. WhatsApp connects with a guided flow inside the app — it's currently in beta. Voice answering is still in development; you can join the waitlist from the Channels page.

How does the AI learn about my clinic?

You upload your services, hours, prices, intake forms and policies during onboarding. The AI answers strictly from that knowledge base — it doesn't invent things it wasn't told.

Can I take over a conversation as a human?

Yes. Every conversation supports live human handoff. Your team can watch conversations in real time and jump in from the dashboard whenever they want.

Which channels are supported?

Website chat is live on every plan today. WhatsApp Business is in beta and included from Growth upwards. Voice answering is in development and will be included on Pro when it ships — we don't bill for it before then.

Do I need a WhatsApp Business account?

Yes — we connect via the official Meta/WhatsApp Business API through Twilio, which keeps your setup fully compliant. We guide you through the connection during onboarding.

What will the AI voice sound like?

Voice answering is in development, so this is what we are building towards: natural UK and Irish accents you can preview on the home page, with tone and pace matched to your clinic. Nothing is billed for voice until it is live in your account.

What languages does the AI speak?

You can set your clinic's primary language — English (UK), Spanish, French, Arabic, Urdu, German, Italian, Portuguese or Chinese are supported today. The agent answers patients in the language you've configured; automatic per-message language switching is on our near-term roadmap.

Does it work with my existing booking system?

Accepted Answer

Clincue works standalone today with its own booking flow, and Google Calendar sync is in development. Deep integrations with Microsoft Bookings, Calendly, Dentally, Cliniko, Pabau, Semble, Zapier and HubSpot are on our public roadmap — see the Integrations section on the home page for live status. If yours isn't listed yet, message us and we'll prioritise it.

Can it handle multiple locations?

Yes. Starter supports one location, Growth up to three, and Pro is unlimited. Each location can have its own hours, services and staff routing.

Will the AI give medical advice?

No. Clincue is explicitly configured not to diagnose, prescribe or triage. Sensitive queries are handed off to your clinic staff, and urgent language triggers an immediate escalation with an emergency-services prompt where appropriate.

Is Clincue GDPR compliant?

Yes. All patient data is encrypted at rest and in transit, hosted in the EU/UK by default, and we sign a Data Processing Agreement with every clinic. Built-in safety models filter sensitive content. See our /dpa and /security pages for the details.

Where is my patient data stored?

All data is encrypted at rest and in transit, stored on EU/UK infrastructure by default, and never used to train shared AI models. Sub-processors are listed in our DPA and we notify you before any changes.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

You can export your conversations and knowledge base at any time. After cancellation we retain your data for up to 30 days so you can reactivate or export, then delete it — or delete it sooner on written request. Encrypted backups roll off within 90 days.

How do I get support?

Email support on every plan with a one-business-day response. Growth includes priority support (4-hour target). Pro adds a dedicated account manager. We target 99.9% monthly availability across all plans, measured monthly as an internal target rather than a contractual SLA — see the Terms for the exact commitment.
